Regency recently delivered a session at University of Arts London, to discuss entrepreneurship with design students that are completing their studies and are looking to start working soon, either as freelancers or in an agency.

University of the Arts London is Europe’s largest university based in London, England. It specialises in art, design, fashion and the performing arts. We delivered a great session at the Elephant and Castle campus with a group of graphic design students.

Josh Gutteridge, CEO of Regency, said “I think its really important that students get an good idea of what the industry is really like. It’s useful to chat with them about their expectations and all of the potential career paths open to them. We also talk in-depth about the design process that we use in the studio and help them to identify which aspects of the process they would enjoy specialising in. It’s a great workshop and everybody has a great time. We’re looking forward to producing more workshops very soon.”

Regency understands the importance of giving back to the community and helping out next generation of designers take a step in right direction. The design world is constantly changing and we need fresh ideas from our younger generation to influence future design.

If you would like to invite Regency to lecture at your university or school please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you are a student looking for work experience or an internship please visit our careers page to upload your CV.
