Overview

The charity telling the story of HIV and AIDS.

The National HIV Story Trust is focused on filming, recording and preserving the history of those affected by the AIDS pandemic of the 1980s and 90s. Their ultimate aim is to preserve the stories and ensure they reach as wide an audience as possible, while supporting the work of HIV and AIDS charities.

Following creation of a new visual identity, we partnered with long-term friends of the agency, NHST, to create a redefined digital presence for the charity. Focusing on highlighting key narratives and videography, our team designed a UI that not only spotlighted the organisations’ new branding, but also highlighted donations, archives and updates.

Taking the form of the charity’s new logo, we built out a design system that mirrored the pill-like shape in an attempt to establish increased brand recognition, but also an approachable and digestible web-based experience. This language can be seen across all key areas of the website.
